Drunk flight attendant arrested on plane
LEXINGTON, Ky. – A Cheap Flights attendant appeared in court Monday to answer charges she was drinking alcohol on the job and told a captain “You’re dead” as she was removed from the plane.
Public safety officers at Blue Grass Airport reported Sarah Mills, 26, threatened the Atlantic Southeast Airlines captain Sunday afternoon. Court documents said she smelled heavily of alcohol and admitted drinking whiskey onboard.
Mills’ driver’s license lists her residence as Union, Mo., though she told officers she now lives in Atlanta. She was being held Monday at Fayette County Detention Center on a $350 bond following her arraignment on terroristic threatening and public alcohol intoxication. She pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Waking Up In Belgium
So, the year was 2007. We had just graduated high school days before my friend’s 18th birthday. We celebrated our completion of 12 horrible years and my friend’s birthday by backpacking around Europe.
Three days into the trip, on my friend’s actual birthday, I decided to seal the deal by buying him a few beers at a pub. The first round came and we took those easy. The second round came, once again, we were champs. This continued for quite some time and things got a little fuzzy after round 6 or 7.
My next coherent memory comes to me, hundreds of miles away. My friend wakes me up outside a train station in Brussels, Belgium. 16 hours had passed since I lost contact with reality and passed out. Neither of us knew how we’d arrived in Belgium. We didn’t remember a single thing from the night before. After a few minutes of recollection, we realize that we had been robbed while we were passed out on the train. We were left stranded thousands of miles from home with nothing but 4 euros in our pockets and the clothes on our bodies. Everything else had been stolen. From lily: I dont know if this is my “best” story, but its …
I dont know if this is my “best” story, but its certainly crazy. Mind you this is after sharing half a bottle of rum, and a bottle of vodka with just one other person. So it starts out with me wandering around the back yard, apparently looking for something I lost and being very upset about it…somehow I end up under the back porch, and then I fell and start rolling around in the dirt. After doing this, I crawled out towards the steps and started screaming about how the world was spinning and ripping grass out of the ground. Finally I was coaxed to come sit up on the porch steps, and at that point I demanded a glass of water. My nice friend brings it to me, and I go to drink it and just dump it over my head and demand more…they say it happened three times before they stopped bringing me the water. I guess I wasnt able to be convinced to come in for about an hour or two. Once inside, I grabbed a bag of shreaded cheese out of the fridge, put some on bread and ate it then stumbled up to bed(why I would choose to eat that, I have no idea). I layed in bed for probably less than five minutes, leaned over my bed and puked all over the floor. Then rolled back over and went to sleep.
Definitely a night I regret for acting like such a fool…but its pretty funny thinking back on it now.
